The answer is simple, 'ra-san. You just write that H/G fic that sends me into fangrrl gibberings and drive me to fic it. XD You know, like you did with Akogare. And like you're doing with Kanete. You sorta shut the door on any doubts I had about ExT.

Eriol: You mean there were doubts?
Tomoyo: I could see why there would be doubts.
Eriol: ;_;
Tomoyo: *whispers* He's just doing this for the snogs. He's terribly shameless.
Eriol: *wanders onto a boat, surrounding himself with flowers*
Tomoyo: Pulling an Ophelia will not make me sorry, Eriol-san.
Eriol: Not even if I drown myself?
Tomoyo: I think that would make me sorry. Prolly turn me on too.
Jae: o_o

Anyhoo. Want to look for songs that splain the various relationships I want to fic. Only cos it's fun. (And Weezer's Pink Triangle is TOO good a fit.) And I'm really not so against H/G, I just think it's going to be done in the books and that I don't personally have any desire to fic it. But if you do it, I'll be the first in line to read it. Honest.

np: Enomoto Astuko Be My Only Angel

I didn't think seeing the movie on opening night would make me such a star. If I lived in the UK, twould make more sense, seeing as how it premiered on Nov. 1. And I only got to see it on the 16th. Not excellent, but good, like I said. Can't wait for the DVD, so I can get ALL the scenes. Drool over Snape and Draco and maybe more GINNY~! I should have worked harder on learning my accents when I was at UEA. I only know enough to tell when someone is Scottish, Irish, Southern England and Northern England. I'm not terribly good at Welsh and I think I remember Cornish accents well enough to distinguish, but you know... these sorts of details are terribly important when imagining fic. Tis no surprise that the grand majority of the actors have fairly standardish Southern English accents. (I'd say BBC British accents, but NO ONE but BBC announcers actually talk like that. XD)

Harry Potter fic tends to be rather dismal. I mean there is a ton of it out there, but as we know, quantity is no substitute for quality. I think the romance ficcage is particularly dismal. >< I can see what was going through the minds of the writers. oOoo, wouldn't this couple be cuuuute. So let's have them fall in love and shag the night away. Which is fiiiiine, if you don't pretend that you have a plot. It's this pretense of a plot combined with the reality of PWP that offends me. Particularly when it's made clear that the characters seem to have no sex drive. XD Or maybe I'm just picky. I don't want to dissaude people from writing. Good plot and characterization is hard. I'm also not such a stickler for canon as one would like to think. The whole canon/fanon distinction is a recent phenomenon. They're only at issue when someone has a copyright or "creator" rights to a work. We used to pass sories down orally, through folk tales. And now we have almighty creators making millions of dollars while we cower in fear to write our fanfiction with our puny disclaimers. (Btw, the no one's going to sue you unless you're rich, cos what would be the point? And even if the person is rich, you're going to more likely than not lose money.)

As we all know, Ginny is the only one I really want to fic in the HP world. And maybe Draco. After seeing the movie, Snape also intrigues me, but I think Rowling's offered -almost- enough to make it not quite worth the effort of ficcing. (I may change my mind, but I hate making promises when I haven't written anything.) As we know, 'ra-san is the H/G shipper to end all shippers. (And I am the D/G shipper to end all shippers, but you know, minor details.) My reasoning of course is that Harry is thick (and boring, but I don't want 'ra-san to come after me with rotten tomatoes) and Ginny deserves the best. The best of course being fanon!Draco. Rowling will make Draco evil, won't she? And stick him with Pansy Parkinson. She's such a nervy twit of a woman. It is possible that Harry won't end up with Ginny, but I think that's where Rowling is going. She wouldn't make Ginny wait so bloody long if it were not the case.

Blech. I need to re-read the series. I don't like ficcing in a series I don't know very well. And although I think Rowling's prose and world building could do with some work, there is a ton of canon crap I should know. >< I hate being anal.

Eriol: Why am I all over the place? It's a bit unnerving.
Tomoyo: And why is everyone afraid of me?
Jae: As Miss Kristina pointed out, I believe it's the copy of The Prince sticking out of your sock drawer, Tomoyo dear.
Eriol: Hey, that's my copy! Tomoyo-san, what did I say about borrowing my things without asking first?
Tomoyo: *sets her knitting down* *gives Eriol a kiss* *calmly resumes her knitting*
Eriol: *_* *wanders off into waffy, kissy-poo land*
Draco puppet: *smirks*
Ginny puppet: That's a neat trick. How do you do that, Tomoyo?
Tomoyo: *hands Ginny a book about 5 inches thick*
Ginny puppet: o_o *files for future reference*
Draco puppet: o_o

Must write soon. Voices and puppets getting restless.

*_* Ahhh. The Harry Potter movie has inspired me to write fic. I also managed to win an official Hogswart notebook, so I even have the proper receptacle to write things in. (Not that my other notebooks and computer weren't good enough, but it's nice to extra inspiration.)

Eriol: Now hold on a second. Are you trying to say that a notebook plastered with pictures of MOI is not enough inspiration for you?
Jae: *halo*
Eriol: Bite your tongue, Jae-san!
Jae: Lalalala. I'm marvelling at the wonder of Snape. Shhh
Eriol: He was terribly hottt in the movie, wasn't he?
Jae: You were drooling over Oliver Wood TWO seconds ago. Here, remember?
Eriol: When have I ever felt the compulsion to drool over ONE person? At a time?
Jae: Runno. You're awfully flighty.
Eriol: Me? Flighty?
Jae: There is a reason Shigure-san likes you so much, dear.
Eriol: XD

Two seconds of Ginny isn't really very much to base a fic upon. However, I am convinced that Draco really will be wasted in the bloody series, so I must do something with it. <3 <3 Scuse me while I continue to float. XD

np: Blur Girls and Boys

That would make a good yaoi/shounen-ai song. Anyhoo, that last post was a bit typo-rific. >< Haven't had time to flesh out my outline and thoughts yet, but soon, promise. However, I have decided that whenever I write this Ginny fic,

Eriol: *cough* Nevah~! *cough*
Jae: No one asked you, Hiiragizawa.

Ahem, anyways, Ginny will have shoulder freckles. And certain people will notice. Now this will require either a scene where she wears a nightgown or some other strappy or shoulder-bearing gown.

Eriol: Translation- Smut fic~!!! <3 <3 .... or a ball.
Jae: Can we tell what Hiiragizawa wants? All together now.
Tomoyo: *delicate yawn* Smut
Hatoko: Dirt? *scratches head* *pops a green bean into her mouth* Endame?
Draco puppet: Smut, and I pray with Ginny and not him. ><
Ginny puppet: Smut? o.o

So prolly a ball. And then a scene in the nightgown after. Mwhaaaa, I am so eveeeeel. Poor Ginny. ^_^

np: Verdi Va pensiero sull'ali dorate

I need to listen to more of his stuff. We sang it in choir. This particular song is terribly dramatic, moving and bootiful. Good for emotion. It's the The Chorus of the Hebrew slaves. Ahhh, music. It inspires, it really does. Anyways.....

Let's see now. Discussion of A Young Man's Fancy. Okay, Eriol is angsting in the classroom. He glances at Tomoyo. Sakura is gleefully triumphant. Eriol angsts some more. Tomoyo then drags him outside for lunch. Now the following discussion will be difficult to write out, but I have some ideas. At first, Tomoyo is going to pretend that Sakura is worried about Eriol. But we, and Eriol, know that is bollocks, cos Sakura knows that Eriol's really just moping over Tomoyo. So Eriol teases Tomoyo a bit and gets her to admit that she, Tomoyo, is concerned about Eriol. Tomoyo admits it. (Insert something like that bit in the Meiling leaves episode. I am your friend, you can talk to me about anything, blah blah blah.) But she's a bit reluctant. Is this the usual Tomoyo is over-socialised and thus cannot admit her true feelings? Or is there something more? (Eriol, being slow, thinks it's the first thing. Remember, he's in uber angst mode.) This is where it gets tricky. I want Eriol to hint at this strange theory he's come up with. Clow messed up, you see.

Clow: Baka keshin
Eriol: What? It's not -my- fault you fubared, old fart.
Clow: It's not my fault I have to literally drop things in your bloody lap if I want you to understand.
Eriol: *fume*
Jae: Can we not argue? I'm trying to discuss my ficcage. Yeesh. So rude.

Er, yes. Clow fubared. Eriol's convinced that was a little unfair with the divving amongst his two reincarnations. Eriol got shafted in the love department. He can love, but he can't be loved. If that makes any sense. I know, it's messy, but that's what I'm aiming for. So he tells Tomoyo in vague and obscure terms, but Tomoyo's not stupid. She understands him perfectly. And Eriol walks off, cos his allergies are bothering him something awful. (See? He likes Tomoyo so much, he endures watery eyes and snuffles. XD) Tomoyo whispers something to the extent of, "Oh, but you are loved, Hiiragizawa-kun." Heh heh.

Tomoyo: But Eriol-san has to win my love. I'm not a cheap girl.
Jae: Oh, but he did, darling. That's the angsty Tomoyo chapter~!
Tomoyo: >< Can we take my name out of this piece?
Jae: Nope.

Cut to Sakura and Syaoran on the other side of the yard. They dicuss Tomoyo and Eriol. Syaoran refuses to believe that Eriol would be good for Tomoyo. Sakura insists. Kero-chan pops out of Sakura's bag and tosses in his two cents. In pop Touya and Yukito. Sakura was ditzy and forgot her bento. So Sakura begins strategizing. *leer*

And that is my chapter in a nutshell. Um, any thoughts? Suggestions? E-mail me.

I think I can finish the next chapter of A Young Man's Fancy, but the plot continues to grow murkier. Making major decisons about your characters' motivations on the fly can be problematic in the long run, iffen you know what I am saying.

Tomoyo: I'll say. The things you are doing to my reputation, Jae-san.
Jae: No, dear, that would be the Edinburgh fic. ^^
Tomoyo: Yes, well, you haven't actually written it yet. When you do, we will have words. *clacks her knitting needles menacingly*
Jae: What exactly are you knitting anyways? Do I want to know?
Tomoyo: No, likely not.

Yes, if you've managed to guess, Tomoyo's the trouble maker. But I'll get my revenge. *beam*

11:18 p.m.

Well, I thought if I started a separate blog for just ficcing I could keep track of my fics. I promise that this won't turn into one of those muse mansions. Cos I enjoy reading other people's, but I think I'd look like an utter prat if I did it. So there we go. XD

Anyhoo, let's see what I've got on my plate.

The Tomoyo Fanclub- Done and no The Eriol Fanclub XD
(Eriol: I'm trading you in, Jae-san. Jae: XD)

A Young Man's Fancy- Chapter 1 essentially done (but never happy), Chapter 2- Eriol angsty, Tomoyo undecided

ExT ala Moving Castle- Some bits written but they're all terribly derivate and not good, aka not fit for public consumption. Eriol is Howl and Tomoyo is Sophie. Sakura is Martha and Syaoran is Michael. Spinel Sun will likely be Calcifer. It would be terribly wicked of me, but I think Kaho ought to be Miss Angorian. ^^ I was thinking of making Touya Lettie, but that would make swapping places a bit difficult. And Yue as Wizard Sulliman ...^^ Fujitaka would be King and that's about all I know.

CCS/AL crossover- Eriol and Tomoyo have an affair. Spawn-chan is born. Eriol has already left for England. Tomoyo too proud/embarassed to tell Eriol. Gives Spawn-chan to family friends to raise. Tomoyo goes off for a bit. Eriol suffers from angst at testing Sakura so. Starts a school. Names it after himself. (Isn't he just the most self-centered little bugger?) Hatoko notices Eriol one day and is intrigued by his angstiness. Tomoyo comes back into town and the two of them meet up, attempting to tentatively become friends again. Break for comedic moment as Tomoyo and Eriol battle with Sakura and Syaoran dolls respectively. Hatoko notices them battling. Tomoyo and Eriol battle in Angelic Layer a few more times and run into Spawn-chan. At some point, the truth comes out and they're one big happy family. Heh.

Edinburgh- Eriol and Tomoyo are ready to begin their own lives in the big bad world of uni. Little do they know that they will be at the same one. In finding themselves, will they find each other? (I know, it's a shit synposis, but all I know is I've somehow managed to get Tomoyo into skin tight leather at a club with Eriol and they end up in bed together. o_o Mommy. I think I've been reading Kit's fics too much or something. XD)

And let's not forget The Ginny Fic To End All Ginny Fics

And the Draco x Ginny fic to end all the others (that never really started XD)

My, I sound ambitious. I think I will go sulk and cry now.

Eriol: No, you will write my smut!fic.
Jae: I will do no such thing.
Eriol: That club and tight leather snippet sounds smutty to me.
Tomoyo: *blushes* She wasn't asking you, Eriol-san.
Draco puppet: You're supposed to be dressing me! in leather!
Ginny puppet: ........
Spawn-chan: 'Jisan~! 'Basan~! Bertie Bott Every Flavour Beans?
Jae: ><
